About the Author
John Michael Greer has been a student of occult traditions and nature spirituality for more than 25 years. He began following the Druid path in 1993 with initiation in the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD). I keep buying this book and have completed it. Then I give it away! I keep running into people who can use the knowledge contained in this book. Here you will find the history of the Druids, how they worked and why they were so tied to the land. You will also find a list of Druid organizations throughout the world to join. So, you get to learn the basics, practice on your own then you can join a group or stay solo for as long as you want. The key is you get the tools to do the work!
I believe this is the go to book for beginners if you are trying to learn about druidism and it's philosophy and ideas behind it. Very good read and interesting.
This is a great book for anyone trying to learn to live a life by the path of the druid people. The author is very knowledgeable.
