I have tried many different budget books and apps. This was exactly what I was looking for! The biggest benefit was that I could add my own categories for expenses. When budgeting I don't like to break things down into 20 different categories, I keep them very basic. I appreciate the fact that this allows me to do so. I also like that it is also broken down by days. I'm so relieved to have finally found exactly what I have been looking for.

I have been using this budget planner for about a week now and am in love with it. It's perfect. And although I understand the frustration some are saying they are having at not having enough lines to break down their spending in more detail, maybe I can offer some help.Here's what I did for a solution that is working great for me:I am doubling up on the accounting detail by simply adding a slash mark / on lines where expenses are in related categories. For instance, utilities. I put it all on one line by putting the electric bill on top, then adding a /, and putting the water bill amount on bottom. Another example: I put hotel on top/food bought on travel on bottom. This has worked great for me, because I too like to be more detailed in my accounting and being able to keep separate the usual household food bill from food purchased during travel is a bonus.Hope this helps. I absolutely love this planner, and appreciate the instructions in the beginning. It was exactly what I needed to get a grip on our spending.

This has provided my family a clear vision of how much money we spend a month and on what. It gives helpful tips in the beginning and you can add extra categories. Very good price. Such a blessing.

This book is really simple to use and it is easy to see where everything goes. I bought this budget planner to help me learn finances since my husband takes care of all the bills. Tracking all of our expenses has made me a lot more conscious of my purchases and helped me not be so wasteful. I love using this and seeing where I have been able to save money!

By writing down how much I spend on a daily basis, I have really gained control of my finances. It was a real eye opener for me! I recommend this for anyone who thinks they really don't waste a lot of money but is always broke. It makes it very clear where your money is going. I like that I can make my own categories. It makes it super simple.

Simple, and easy to understand. Great for beginners who dont understand the process of budgeting or are intimidated by it. This book breaks it down nicely without making you feel dumb. But it does not lay flat and that can be irritating. However I can overlook that as I am not picky. But I wouldn't buy it again myself. It seems a little large and an excessive use of paper without a lot of it to plan. You can find the same information online and practice with cheaper material from local supply stores
