I read Erma Bombecks books as a young mother and laughed at all her wild stories of family life. It was refreshing and fun to re-read this book.So many things have changed since this book was written.Some would say progress, but I'm not so sure

As much as things change they stay the same. All she would need to bring this book up to date is a chapter on how to deal with children who don't phone but will text or Facebook before they talk to their parents face to face.

Erma Bombeck has tickled my funny bone for most of my life. A contemporary of my mom's generation, we shared her newspaper columns amid laughter and wisecracks. This book brings back a chunk of time when every well-known author knew just enough psychology to get themselves in trouble. I'm glad her humor lives on.

Always did get a kick out of Erma Bombecks writing. Kindle version was perfect and complete. On occasion it seemed like maybe a page was missing, but I found it wasn't really missing after I went back a couple of pages and then went to where I left off. I found that the "missing" page was there. It may not have downloaded properly or something.

Erma Bombeck is my favorite comedy real life writter. I miss the fact that she is gone, but her written word will last forever. I loaned this to my mom to help pick up her mood during a very painful time. She laughed and we still quote sessions back and forth. Laughter is the best medicine and causes longivity along the way. I Love that Amazon carries so many great books, as well as great sellers on Amazon...Thank You

As a 44 year old mother who works full-time, I didn’t find this book very enjoyable or funny. Maybe it’s my age; I’m not sure...it just wasn’t relatable.

I've been a fan of Erma's forever. She's like that neighbor we all have and love (I wish she was my neighbor) whom we can visit in our pajamas.She's so real and so funny.

Erma Bombeck. What more is there to say? Her writing is personal, funny and relatable to any woman who has attempts to wrangle a family out of the door and on to success.
